Are your pilots ex-military pilots?
Most of SD Sky Tours pilots have military flight experience. You can find the details on each individual pilot page.
Are you licensed or authorized by the FAA?
Yes. San Diego Sky Tours is one of the only tour companies in the country authorized for formation flying!

What does the Event Price or Quote include?
The price includes the Letter of Authorization, commercial insurance, fuel, pilot day rates, airplanes, hangar and ground staff.
What are contributing factors to the price of an event?
Pricing takes into consideration the complexity, logistics, and special services your event requires. All events are custom priced, and you will know the detailed costs included in your proposal.
Does everyone have to fly, and will we be charged if they don't?
Attendees are not required to fly, and they have just as much fun as those that are more adventurous.
How many people can fly during an event?
We can fly up to 9 people per hour with our current fleet.
How many people can you accomodate for a corporate event, or party?
We can accommodate up to 40 guests in our operations hangar. For larger groups we can arrange for another vintage hangar on the field to be used. Please call for availability.

Just because you are a guest at one of our events does not mean that you HAVE to fly- although we do recommend it highly! You will still have a great experience being a part of the action on the ground!
